I am having problems with my finances. I have not been able to get out of debt for a long time.

I strongly recommend that you try to get a job as a business analyst in IT. It's not as glamorous as investment management, but at least the financial analyst job is in demand. Try taking a couple of IT courses at your local college to get acquainted with the job.
